My Gym is our favorite!

We still love going to My Gym 2x per week and they have so many fun toys for us to play with/on. Here are some pics of LM with his friends at My Gym....I managed to recruit Mom's from my playgroup to come out and sign up, so we would have more kids to play with!

That last pic is the end of my first rollercoaster ride! Check out the video to see the whole thing!

Mad man in the bath tub!

Lil M is quite the little fish, as you can tell from his swimming photos! Well, bathtime is always a blast for him too. Here is picture and then a really funny video of his antics in the tub!

Lil M wants to crawl!

Our little man has been a bit of a late bloomer in the crawling arena, but we are thankful that at least now he is starting to make some strides toward the movement!

Here are some pics of him doing the "pushup" which is often does instead of putting his knees down...he does a real live push up!

Our First Mother's Day

So, this last weekend was one of the best (for me, at least!) in a while! My boys really went out of their way to make sure I had the best Mother's Day yet (kinda ironic)! It was really a whole Mother's Day Weekend, it turns out.

On Friday night, Hubby and I got to use the company Padre's tickets to enjoy a free game and got Mom and Stepdad to babysit LO. Fun, as always, despite the losing streak the Pad's are on! Then on Saturday morning, I was having a lazy morning of feeding and playing with the boy and then put him down for a nap. I got into the shower only a half an hour before we were supposed to get to swimming lessons. Lazy, I was. My wonderful husband asked if I wanted he and LO to go to swimming without me. I was thankful...I could continue to be lazy! :) I treated myself to a lunch at Panera and was planning a possible pedicure when I ran into one of my Mommy friend's, Jen who was also treating herself to lunch, sans sons and Hubby. It was perfect timing! We enjoyed a nice afternoon hanging out chatting, eating and then a little shopping.

So, for the real Mother's day I woke up to feed the LO and was going to get up to play with him, when Hubby told me to get back to bed because I was throwing a wrench in his plans......twist my arm, why don'tcha? So I headed back to be for another fabulous hour! I woke up to find my boys getting dressed and this is what my LO was wearing:

Note, the bouquet of roses in the background?? LO had gotten me 18 roses for every month I had taken care of him....that would be 9 mos. in the womb and 9 mos. post natal. Hehe...how sweet is my husband?? Hubby also got me a bouquet from him with purple tulips and stargazers. I didn't happen to take a special picture of them when they were fresh, but here they are 4 days later...still not too bad.

LO also got me a soccer ball. Apparently, so I could teach him how to play! Currently, he is mostly interested in eating the soccer ball...but maybe someday he will kick some grass...just like his Mama used to before her career ending injury! ;-)

We are even teaching him the sign language for ball! He is such a good student and always pays close attention when we sign to him :)

Thanks so much to my "boys" for the best Mother's Day yet....a precedence has been set for following Mother's days to be even better!! Hehe...no pressure ;-)

Book Obsession!

It's so funny, in the last week or so,my LO has developed a sudden obsession with books! I am so glad...but it is funny how it just came over him :) He started squealing with delight whenever we put his few favorite books in front of him:

Bright Baby books are 2 of his faves, Animals and Colors version and also The Very Hungry Caterpillar because he loves to turn the small pages so much!

He spotted the Caterpillar book over my shoulder while he was on his changing table and started to almost kill himself trying to rubber neck to see it and lean towards it...I had no idea what he had spotted!? Low and behold, it was the beloved book! Here are some pics of him in action with books, I am sure I will get many more soon :)

Testing testing......

Can't seem to figure out how to arrange the pictures and have the text be around each picture....can't seem to find any help that answers that question either! Jeez, I thought I was more computer savvy than this, nothing like a new adventure to make you feel computer illiterate! Now I can see why old folks don't bother to try to learn new things...technology. Sheesh. "Whipper snappers!! Get off my lawn, you kids!!" (That's what my sweet hubby always says when he is pretending to act like an old guy.) hehe.

This is my LO at My Gym. He still isn't sure of what to think of the place, but he sure loves the balls...of all sizes!!

Another one of his new favorite places is on Daddy's shoulders...makes him grin from ear to ear EVERY time he gets up there!

My LO's latest feat is pulling up to stand now...its very clear that he is trying to bypass the crawling thing all together because he still screams and cries whenever he is on his tummy and is just too darn mad that he can't get anywhere from down there!

So Whaddya know...guess I might have figgered out a little technology afterall! :)

Finally starting this thing out!

Now that I am finally a full time SAHM (stay at home mom, for those of you not in the know!), I have plenty of time to spend on the computer during my little one's naps and have so many darn cute pictures to share! I wanted a spot that wouldn't take as long as individual emails and where I can have fun with it....so here we are! Let me tryand post some of the most recent LO's pics for our first test run!!
